MORNING PRAYERS & PRAYERS BEFORE STUDIES
1. O God, the source of all truth and wisdom/ bless our work and study/ which we offer you. Enlighten our minds/ strengthen our memories/ and direct our wills/ towards what is right/ Enable us always/ to seek the truth/ and make us truly wise.
2. O divine Creator of all, bless my beloved country. Make it prosperous and rich. Bless all its people and give light and wisdom to its rulers. Keep it away from all ungodliness and materialism and give its leaders courage to lead it to you. Make one of its leaders, and make all my companions leaders of our country. Bless the poor of my country, and let them see justice done to them. Fill them with hope and faith in your divine providence, and give them daily food and shelter.
3. Almighty God, my loving Father, I love you with my whole heart and above all things, I offer You all my thoughts, words and actions and ask you to bless me during this day. Help me so that I may always know, love and serve You, and be eternally happy with You after death.
4. Today, O God, make me courageous enough to face things of which I am afraid: strong enough to overcome temptations and do the right thing: persevering enough to finish every task given to me to do: kind enough always to be ready to help others. Help me to live in purity, to speak the truth, to act in love, all through the day.
5. God, thank you for all the people and things which make such a difference to my life. Thank you for my parents and for all that they do for me, my home and for all the happiness and comfort which are always waiting there for me; my friends in whose company I am happy; my school and for everything I learn. Thank you God, for these and all that you have given me and above all, thank you Lord, for giving me yourself.
6. Holy Guardian Angels, watch over us, protect us and keep us safe from all harm.
7. Our Father in heaven, holy be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Do not bring us to the test but deliver us from evil Amen.
