Description: The National Sports Day was celebrated on Monday, 29 August 2022 at the Mary Ward Auditorium in the school. A special assembly was conducted to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Wizard of Hockey, Major Dhyan Chand and to honour all the sportspersons who contribute to make India proud. The students of XII C imparted awareness on the importance of sports for peace, health, fun, and life skills. A special mention of the sports luminaries of the Commonwealth Games 2022 awakened the sportsman spirit in the students. A brilliant display of aerobics was manifested by the students of classes VI-XII after the assembly. The students of Prep to class VIII had fun indulging in recreational races and relays. They learnt and played with great zeal and team spirit. Sr. Baisakhi in her speech encouraged the students to participate in sports and urged them to balance both academics and sports
