Description: A dental screening camp and workshop on oral hygiene was organised for the students of junior school on 8th September.Since one of the EVS lessons of Junior School is based on Teeth and Dental Care, it was a good opportunity to have a talk by experts for the students of Junior School starting from classes Prep to Four. Colonel Dr Arpita ,Lt. Colonel Dr. Vijaylaxmi from Army R and R Hospital with their team and Dr. Shivani Dasoar took time out of their busy schedule to come for a Dental screening of the students.All three doctors were junior school parents.They also made the students aware about good oral Hygiene and how to take care of their Teeth and Gums.The Workshop was very informative and insightful.Students were asked questions at the end of the session and prizes in the form of attractive toothbrushes and toothpastes were distributed.Later during the day, a dental screening for all Junior School students were held in the open hall.The students went with their dental cards, Stars and prizes were given to the students with good, healthy teeth and gums.The students loved the dental camp and went back home with lot of information and awareness on good oral hygiene extending their thanks to the Team of doctors and their assistants.
