Description: Loreto Convent School is a premiere centre of learning for girls in Delhi Cantonment.
We are committed to carry forward the vision and mission of the UN by educating and
engaging the girls in ensuring environmental sustainability.
25 th April 2017, was a special day for Loreto Convent Delhi, a day that would go down
into the history of the school.
It was a day when 75 trees were planted within the school premises.
The Tree Plantation Drive was inaugurated by the Delhi Cantonment Board Chief
Executive Officer Mr.B.Reddy Sankar and Sister Mercia D’Souza, as a project of the
JPIC Team.
Under their able guidance, encouragement and supervision our girls from classes
prep to 12, enthusiastically participated in this mission and had firsthand experience.
We hope to take this glorious drive way ahead into the future and ensure that our
small endeavor makes a difference on our planet.
