Description: On 5th August 2017,the students of classes 4A and 4B welcomed their parents to the newly built Mary Ward Auditorium for their parents day .The program was in commensurate with the grandeur of the auditorium. The main purpose of this Parents Day was to thank and appreciate the parents for all their support, in the process of education. It began with our junior school coordinator welcoming our Superior Sister Antoinette, our Principal Sister Archana and all the parents of the students of class 4. This was followed by a short prayer asking for god's blessings on the students , their parents, the sisters, teachers and the support staff and the auspicious lighting of the lamp in which the children sang a western-classical combination of the hymn "All Heavens declare the Glory of the risen Lord". The Play " Noah's amazing Ark" began with a big bang as the parents watched their children give a power -packed performance on stage accompanied by foot tapping, vibrant dance numbers on the songs" I like to move it"," Rainbow song", a catwalk on the isle done by the animals and birds who were waiting to board the ark, melodious singing of a variety of songs such as "God has a plan for me", "Believe in a miracle", "From a distance", "Heal the world", "Welcome to the family time", "Ra-ta-ta-ta-ta here comes the animals two by two" and all the technical effects that made the whole program an amazing treat for the eyes. Each child had been given the opportunity to perform on stage and they all enjoyed participating in it. The program ended with a spectacular Grand Finale on the song " God still loves the world" which was followed by the vote of thanks by a parent who thanked the school and the teachers and then all students sang the "Loreto Chorus". Refreshments were served for the parents towards the end in the open hall. The program was well appreciated by the parents who went home with pleasant memories, feeling happy and delighted after seeing their child perform on stage.
