Description: Education is the wealth which cannot be stolen, values are the soul for one’s well being. And to impart these we have teachers the preachers of love. On 5th September2016. We celebrated Teachers’ Day with faces brimming with enthusiasm and thanks giving. We also celebrated the birth day of Dr. Sarvepelli Radhakrishnan, our former president and pioneer in education. The theme for this year’s celebration was the daggling 90’s. We had dance performance from the junior, senior and senior secondary school which made all feets tap. A medley of the hit 90’s songs in the form of a musical was also performed by classes 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. The day also marked a farewell to a dear member of Loreto Convent Delhi, Mr. Pinto. There were games for teachers which brought out their hidden talents. The Celebration was an act of gratitude for teachers who impart wisdom, this and guidance in a selfless way to all the students of the school.
