Description: On 22 February a team of EME (Electronic and Mechanical Engineers) and distinguished personnel of the Indian Army participating in ‘50 days 50 half Marathon’ to promote clean, green and pollution free India ended their half marathon run with a visit to Loreto Convent, Delhi Cantt. The students of class 4 and some members of the teaching staff welcomed the guests from the entrance of the school with a thunderous applause. After a warm welcome the team was then invited to conduct a 45 minute yoga session. The students of class 4 and teachers participated enthusiastically in the session. Colonel Vishal Ahlawat addressed the students and encouraged them to take the country forward as they are the future of our country. The event concluded with the children singing a few patriotic songs..’ Yeh hai naya Hindusthan ‘ and ‘We shall overcome ‘ which was greatly appreciated by the entire team. At the end Principal Sr Archana thanked the guests on behalf on everyone.
