Description: Loreto Convent School, Delhi conducted a special prayer service on the eve of Republic Day, on 25 Jan 2019 with great fervour and splendour. The event started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the principal Sr. Archana Gomes and the school coordinators. The patriotic fervor was heightened with the singing of the Sanskrit – Bengali medley Sangacchadwam- Anandaloke and the recitation of the Telugu composition Jaya Jaya Jaya Priya Bharatha, by Devulapalli Krishna Shastri. The principal Sr. Archana addressed the school and implored the students to appreciate the treasure that is the motherland. This programme ended with the National Anthem. The programme was much appreciated by the staff and students.
