Description: The Investiture Ceremony for the newly elected student council was held on 07 July 2018. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the principal Sr. Archana and the coordinators while the students sang the hymn ‘Give me oil in my lamp’ at the beginning of the prayer service. As part of the prayer service, selected readings from various scriptures were read out by teachers as advice and blessings. The prayer service was followed by the investiture ceremony, wherein the School Student council was awarded their respective badges and flags.
After the oath was office was taken, the head girl, Rebecca Jose thanked the principal, teachers and students for the trust reposed in her and promised to work to uphold the name of the school. The principal Sr. Archana, at the end, addressed the student council and the school and wished them the best. She advised that their values of truth and justice will stand them in good stead and urged them to remember their oath every single day.
