Description: The insightful sessions were conducted by the Principal, Sr. Monica and School Counsellor from 7th November 2022 till 16th November 2022. Interactive sessions were conducted class wise starting from 12th, 11th and 10th on the first day (7th nov); followed by 9th, 8th standard (9th nov) and so on…till classes 1st and prep (16th nov). The sessions used to start with a prayer, followed by the school vision, philosophy and policies. Principal, Sr. Monica addressed a few topics ; family environment, effective communication between parents and children, self study, and time management. Moreover she also shared some common points of concerns from each class. Later part of the session was continued by the School Counsellor, Ms. Tripti, addressing certain points for the betterment of the children. Wherein, she compared the child with a small seed, and how nurturing has a positive impact on the child (Pleasant mental health, embraces prosocial behavior, fosters belief within self and so on..). Also shared some of the negative impact if nurturing is not there (Suicide ideations, low self esteem, aggression and violence and so on). In the end, some tips for the parents were also shared. The sessions used to conclude by addressing the parent’s concerns and queries. For classes 5th to prep there was a small cultural programme organized for the parents, showcasing dance, poem recitation, prayer. The sessions were appreciated and enjoyed by the parents.
