Description: To celebrate ‘Yoga and Health Day’ 7 A conducted the morning assembly on 13 April 2018. It commenced with invoking the divine with a Sanskrit shloka “Asto Maa Sada Gamaya”
The student outlined the meaning and benefits of yoga and demonstrated some simple Asanas e.g. Matsyasan , Dhanurasan , Chakrasan , Halasan .
The assembly concluded with a beautiful thought “Yoga is the journey of the self to the self through the self.”
The message of the assembly was
Conscious breathing is the essence of yoga as it assists us in connecting with the inner self and with God.
