Description: Ward House organized week long celebrations from 23 Jan to 30 Jan 2016 in honour of the founder of IBVM, Mother Mary Ward. Following an opening Assembly on 23 Jan, a ppt presentation on Mother Mary Ward was shown to all students from classes Prep to XII. A Book mark making competition (Topic: Proud to be a Loretoite for classes V & VI), Quiz competition of the Life and times of Mother Mary Ward for classes VII-VIII and On the Spot Poetry Competition to classes IX-XI were conducted during the course of the week.
Calligraphy Competition and Collage Making Competition were organized as group activity for students of classes V-VII and VIII to XI respectively. A closing Assembly was organized on 30 Jan 2016 to share the vision of Mother Mary Ward as the day also marked her Feast Day and was celebrated as Loreto Day. Prizes were awarded to the winners of the various competitions after the Assembly.
